Today was the national holiday to celebrate the seven hundred years since Dante’s death, many initiatives organized in the peninsula, meetings, author readings and virtual walks. There have been many events in the capital for the program that will last until the summer. It is called “Review of the Stars” and involves municipalities and regional places between museums and villages. Dante’s House in the heart of Trastevere and also involved the Castle of Santa Severa, the Ville Tuscolane and the archaeological park of Ostia Antica. The Colosseum cannot be missed, theater of readings of Dante’s triplets that narrate the crucial events of the city.
